It all started in primary school: my teacher had the most beautiful handwriting — and I practised until mine looked just like it.
Later came broad fountain pens and calligraphy books, the first birthday cards for my grandparents — and eventually pens and inks ordered from the US, because you simply couldn’t get them here. Most of it I taught myself, with a lot of patience and even more paper.
Today I turn words into small works of art: by hand, on paper, each one a unique piece. The best moment is when an idea takes shape — and I get to bring someone joy with it.
